River Rejuvenation Committee in Kerala was constituted in compliance with the direction of Hon'ble NGT, Principal Bench, New Delhi as per the order dated 20.09.2018 in Original Application No. 673/2018 for monitoring the action plans for rejuvenating the identified polluted river stretches. River Rejuvenation Committee is a four member Committee comprising of Director - Environment Department, Director - Urban Development Department , Director - Industries Department, Member Secretary - State Pollution Control Board of concerned State. This Committee will also be the Monitoring Committee for execution of the action plans.
